Psychological
Assessment

Psychological assessment is a process that is conducted to evaluate an individuals mental health, cognitive abilities, emotional functioning and behaviour. It involves a variety of tools and methods, such as interviews, observations, questionnaires, standardized tests and self-reports to gather information for the purpose of the report.
Psychological assessments can be used to incur a diagnosis, for treatment planning, for educational and forensic purposes or for career or vocational guidance.
At my practice, I am willing to provide psychological assessments requested by insurance companies, legal entities or employers, which may be used for claims, legal matters, or employment suitability. I am able to provide psychological evaluations that include cases related to personal injury, trauma and mental health claims. This further includes work with the Road Accident Fund. The evaluation would entail an assessment of the psychological impact of the accident on the client and assistance in determining the extent of the emotional and cognitive impairments.
I also assess for cognitive and emotional functioning in line with the neuropsychological evaluation, and I conduct personality assessments to explore traits and patterns that inform therapeutic processes and aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
